S-Pass Visa and EP Visa in Singapore:-

Eligibility requirements for applying for an S-Pass:

The applicant must have a fixed salary of at least S$2300 per month.
Having excellent technical certifications and having done one which has at least 1 year of full study required to complete it.
A higher number of work years that prove that the applicant is stable in their work.

Eligibility requirements for applying for an EP:

The applicant must have a fixed salary of at least S$3600 per month.
If the applicant wishes to apply for a dependent’ pass application, they have to have a fixed salary of at least S$6000 per month.
A degree from a reputed university is expected(recognized degree).
If parents of the applicant wish to apply for a long term visit pass, the applicant(after getting the EP) must have a fixed salary of at least S$12000 per month.
The applicant must have a certain level of professional qualifications, specialized skills and work experience.

Documents required for S Pass::

All the requested pages of the applicant’s passport.
Documents about the applicant’s companies’ latest business proceedings and work. The instant information that has been registered with the ACRA( Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority) will also be valid.
Educational certificates that prove the applicant’s educational qualifications.

Documents required for EP:

Resume or CV showing the past educational and work experiences of the applicant.
Copies of previous educational certificates and employment letters.
Copy of the applicant’s passport(containing their personal details).
A recent photograph of the applicant.

S-Pass and EP Application Process:

These are the steps that have to be taken in order to obtain the S-Pass or EP:

Submit the application for the pass

Written consent to apply for the pass must be obtained from the individual. A fee(S$75 for S-Pass and S$105 for EP) must be paid for the application. If the pass has been approved, the applicant can log onto the official visa website and obtain their IPA(in-principle approval).

Get the pass issued

Submit the required supporting documents online(will change depending on the type of pass) and provide an address to which the pass will be delivered. Nominate authorized participants(up to 3)to receive the card and provide their NRIC, FIN or passport number, mobile number and email address. Pay the required fee(S$100 for S-Pass and S$225 for EP) to obtain the pass and print out the notification letter once the pass has been issued(applicant must be in Singapore when they make the request for the pass to be issued)

Register fingerprints and photo

The candidate has to visit the location given on the website along with their notification letter and register their biometric details within a week of the pass’ issuance. The candidate should bring along the requested documents when they come for the appointment.

Receive the pass

The applicant will receive their card within 4 days of their biometric registration after all their documents have been successfully verified. After receiving the pass, the applicant can make their dream of working in Singapore come true.
